My Bio
The type of doll I specialize in is the Bunka Ningyo (culture doll). Bunka dolls were famous between Taishô (1912-1926 ) and early Shôwa period ( 1927-1937 ). Traditional ones always wear red as it was thought to protect children from any misfortune. I saw them online about a year ago and have obsessed over them ever since. However, it wasn't until last November that I made my very first one and I was totally hooked! I've been sewing them ever since and loving every minute of it. ^_^ I also love looking at the bunka dolls other people have made. They're always different as each artist has their own style, I love it!

Yesterday at around 7:41 am an 11 year old little boy named Conor was struck by a car going too fast, that didn't stop while he crossed to board his bus. He was airlifted to a specialty Childrens Hospital, they lost his heartbeat twice on the way, his brain was flat-line from the beginning... at 11:40 he passed away. I won't go into details of his injuries, as they were horrible. He was my 11 year old cousins best friend, since they were both born pretty much, he is also the same age as my nephew. I just wanted to say sorry for being mia for the past for days. I ate something that gave me mega bad food poisoning.
